Welcome back to a new school year!
Following 2 years of unprecedented disruption to eduction we hope that this school year brings some stability and focus.
We are so proud of all of our learners for the resilience that they have shown and look forward to providing them with some exciting experiences this year. Our schools share some fantastic highlights on their social media channels (click here for details) and we will be sharing good news stories from across the trust on our website throughout the year.
A key focus of the trust during the 22 23 academic year is to continue strengthening our governance functions. We are pleased to welcome 2 new members to the Trust - Kate Platts and Richard Dunlop - who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience. You can read more about them here.
Two of our newer local governing boards (Bradfield and Wisewood) will be having their first full academic year supporting our schools, and we are also in the process of forming 3 separate local governing boards in our primary schools (Hillsborough, Meynell and Southey).
Good governance is essential in the running of the trust and we are extremely thankful to all of our governance colleagues who volunteer to help us in achieving our mission of 'realising the life chances and dreams of every child.'
You can find out more about our governance structures here.
We look forward to sharing further updates after our strategy day on 4th October.
